Priest Hole is one of the hidden gems of the Lake district just off the Fairfield horse shoe makes it a great place to shelter from the wind and rain… if you can find it! It’s notoriously hidden in the mountain, causing many people to wonder for hours lost in the mountains. We will take you up from Brothers Water and guide you up the hidden route to see and sit in the cave.

 

Once from there we will wander onto the Fairfield horseshoe to take in some breathtaking views on the tops, before heading down. On the decent have your camera ready as the Lake District really exposes its true beauty.

On the day

8.00am - Pick-up 1 - One of our beautiful minibuses (Pictured below) will be parked waiting outside the National Express coach station on Chorlton Street, Manchester. Roughly 5 min walk from Piccadilly.

9.00am - Pick-up 2 - Lancaster Park and Ride, we will pull up at the bus stop opposite the back car park. (Free Parking all day)

​

9:45am - Service stop for refreshments for 20 minutes.

​

10:30am - We will arrive at Brothers Water car park, a little introduction from our mountain leaders about the day and then begin our walk.

​

5pm - Arrive back down from walk latest with lots of smiles! Depart from car park.

​

5:45pm - Service stop for refreshments for 20 minutes.

​

6.30pm - Drop off 1 - Lancaster Park and Ride.

​

7:30pm - Drop off 2 - Arrive back at Chorlton Street, Manchester for departure. With some great memories!
