This walk holds some of the most beautiful views in England! It's great for beginners or those looking for a gentle walk in the Lake District.

Tarn Hows is a small tarn (mountain lake) set in the heart of the Lake District. It was once owned by Beatrix Potter and donated to the National Trust, which now runs and manages the area. The tarn is filled with history and is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI). From the tarn we make our way up to Black Crag for some awesome views. Once back to the minibus we then make our way to Hawkshead Village (a rural county village filled with shops/pubs and cafes for a wander).
This guided walk is gentle and gives you plenty of picture opportunities. It takes approximately 3 hours to walk 7.1 km around Tarn Howes and to the top of Black Fell. This event is in total 7.1 km and a well-rewarded trip!
